Jane Prugh McNear

Jane L. McNear, 63, of Palmer Township, passed away Thursday, June 10, 2010 in Old Orchard Healthcare. Born: July 13, 1946, in Easton, she was a daughter of the late John E. and Eva S. Seigle Prugh. Personal: She and her husband, Grant M. McNear, Jr., celebrated their 42nd wedding anniversary on December 23, 2009. She was last employed by The Express-Times. Years ago she worked as a secretary for the former Squire, Schilling and Skiff. She graduated from Easton High School Class of 1965. Jane enjoyed spending time with her family, romance novels and game shows. Memberships: She was a member of St. John's Church on Morgan Hill. Survivors: in addition to her husband, Grant M., Jr., she is survived by a son, Michael A., of Nazareth; a daughter, Lori A. Stofanak and her husband John M., of Allentown; a brother-in-law, Alan McNear and his wife, Susan, of San Antonio, TX; a sister-in-law, Carole Wolt and her husband Jay, of East Berlin, PA; two grandchildren, Jakob and Ashlyn McNear; two step-grandchildren, David and Rachael Stofanak and a step-great-granddaughter, Alexia Stofanak. Services: will be held at 11 a.m. Monday in the Strunk Funeral Home, Inc., 2101 Northampton St., Wilson Borough. Call Monday 10 to 11 a.m. in the funeral home.
